On the journey back from Antarctica, during the Drake Passage, I had time to kill. Onboard the ship they had 4 big Mac computers, so I jumped on one and started playing around with Lightroom. I was blown away with what can be achieved within about 5 minutes of picture editing. It’s very easy to use.

For anyone going travelling and wanting to take pictures to share with family and friends, it’s worth giving the software a try. It’ll hugely improve your pictures and give people a way better impression of the kind of sights you’ve experienced. I can’t believe I didn’t discover it sooner!
